There is a New Google Toolbar
By Mike Foster
Jul 1, 2003

This free tool will save you a lot of time - and now it is even better!

If you haven't been using the "free" Google Toolbar, you are really missing out. And now the toolbar is improved! Go to http://toolbar.google.com/ to get the toolbar.

This toolbar allows you to perform searches from within Internet Explorer - without having to go to the www.google.com web site first. This is a much easier way to perform searches. And, one of the best features is the Google Toolbar will let you "hi-light" the occurrences of your search words on the page! No more wondering, "Why did this page show up in the search? Where are the words I was searching for?" The words you searched for are brightly hi-lighted so you can easily find them on the page.

If you read the fine print, you will see that you have an option to get the beta version of the new toolbar. I've been using the beta version and it works great.

New additions include automatic pop-up blocking and also the ability to "automatically fill in" information on web forms such as your name, address, e-mail, and even credit card numbers. The private information is stored on your own computer and is password protected. Go to http://toolbar.google.com/ to learn more and start saving more time today!
