Easily Lock the Data on USB Drives
People sometimes lose or misplace USB memory sticks, SD Cards, and other external storage media. Help protect your data from prying eyes and cyber thieves: Encrypt your drive in 3 easy steps…
For executives, ask your IT Pro to help you. If you want to encrypt your USB drive yourself, then insert the drive into your computer, right-click on the drive in Windows Explorer, and choose the option to turn BitLocker on. The wizard takes you from there. Use a long password you’ll remember.
It is so easy; you will wonder why you’ve not encrypted all of your memory sticks!
BitLocker is very powerful. It is free. With Windows 7, you need to use Ultimate or the Enterprise version. Windows 8 needs to be the Pro or Enterprise version.
Send this to your friends so they can add this protection to their drives too!
